York Castle Museum visit 2!

We had a lovely trip into York, we were looking after our niece again and thought she'd enjoy the museum. She wasn't actually feeling a 100% but I think she still enjoyed it. The girls and Ruben enjoyed running around the Victorian Street with her.

It was really busy in the museum with it being the holidays so we didn't spend as much time as we'd have liked in there. Thankfully it was such a lovely sunny day that it was really nice to wander around the cobbled streets and look at all the independent shops. As baby B was having a nap in the pram!

I can't believe I never knew Guy Fawkes was born in York!

Outside York Minster:

Love the old Tudor buildings, reminds me of Stratford Upon Avon.

How's this for a street name?

Lovely views of the River Ouse!

We had a lovely day and thanks to our museum pass it was a pretty cheap day out. Think we will visit again soon as there is an exhibit of Richard the Third on at the moment which would be interesting to see.
