Linacre Reservoir..Sunday Ritual..

We have a new ritual on a Sunday morning of late, Bailey has been going to a local Warhammer group on a Sunday morning (and is having a super time making new friends) so whilst he is happily throwing dice and causing chaos with his Space Marine army we have a new place to visit. Even Tallulah seems to know that Sunday morning is her extra long walk day! Its just the right amount of time to walk around all 3 of the reservoirs at Linacre before we collect Bailey again.

Its been lovely for the last four weeks watching how the season is changing al the same place. The different tree colours, the water levels etc. The weather has been extremely mild the last few weeks too!

Ruben found a milipede. He called it Millie, obvious reasons really haha!
He loves posing for photos which is funny as the older three are reaching the "don't take photo's of me" stage :-(
I love how the beautiful colours of the trees contrast with the Fire Service truck parked up!
Watching the firemen playing, I mean "practising" in their boat!

  1. Oh sounds like my sunday mornings lol. Except Brendan only wants to stay for an hour. Just long enough for a game and then he wants his strawberry and cream Frappe and all day breakfast sandwich lol! So i get to walk the shops. not as pretty as your walk and usually ends up costing me more lol!

    1. Mmmmm sounds yummy Pip! Unfortunately there is no cafe or shop at Linacre so unless we bring our own no yummy snacks for us! A walk does make us all very hungry though!

  2. Oh, I really ought to figure out a natural way to get a long walk into our routine.

    1. That's such a shame, sometimes a good walk is worth the drive though!
