Ruben loved this model lion in the lobby of the baths, he had a quick hug with it before we left.
Bath Abbey, a very impressive building. Even though I'm not religious I really love seeing churches/abbey's.
Piper and Cordelia outside the Roman Baths
Around Somerset we noticed several of these brightly decorated animals
The Pulteney Bridge, which together with the Ponte Vecchio in Florence is said to be one of the most beautiful bridges in the world. It is one of a handful of bridges with shops built into it. It was built by Robert Adams for William Pulteney and connected central Bath to land on the other side of the River Avon. I think the view is best from the other side but by then we were all getting a little tired and had just had an umbrella broken in the strong winds! It was time for some tea and an earlyish night. The night before we had some noisy neighbours on the campsite, who had decided to play their guitar and bongo's until 12! Not what you need when you've had a 4 1/2 hour drive and put a tent up!
