Royal Tunbridge Wells

On our way to Eastbourne camping last weekend we had a stop in Tunbridge Wells. A very beautiful place (fantastic charity shops by the way!). This is a photo of my younger three with the Corn Exchange in the background. Ever since we were at Newark a few weeks ago I have become a little obsessed with corn exchanges! Newark had a beautiful one, which I'm kicking myself for not taking a photo off and now I seem to be seeing them quite a lot. I loved this one in Tunbridge Wells, it was full of lovely (but rather posh and expensive) shops and a lovely atmosphere.
We also had to visit the museum whilst we were there, seriously there can't be many in the country we haven't visited now! Piper was over the moon when we walked in to find this beautiful and rather HUGE doll's house (yep, she's still utterly into dolls thanks to the doll museum!)
Cordelia was also impressed by this beautiful rocking horse but quite jealous to find out that a school had used it for nearly 80 years in the playroom!
The girls loved this special sitting box which was made especially for someone's very, very pampered pooch!
Time for a little drawing in the fossil room!

On our bikes and time to leave Tunbridge Wells, well we did have a tent to put up!

A lovely way to start our mini-holiday camping trip in Sussex!
